Profihost AG was founded in 1998 as one of the first German providers for webhosting and has been a pioneer for secure and customer-oriented cloud hosting since 2013. Many system houses, agencies and medium-sized companies rely on the cloud infrastructure of IT experts, which offers multiple certified security "Made in Germany". The owner-managed corporation is headquartered in Hanover and serves 14,000 active clients from 42 countries, including many big names such as Frosta, Shopware, Trigema and DMAX Shop. The independent hosting provider is regularly honored for the speed and reliability of its hosting products. Profihost also has the Trusted-Shops seal of quality, is a certified hosting partner of numerous software manufacturers and a member of the "Alliance for Cybersecurity", an initiative of the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). In addition, the company was certified by the VdS. Profihost with its 44 employees has been honored several times in the nationwide competition "Germany's Best Employers", most recently in 2018.
