As a former literary scholar and as a freelance web developer, I've been trying to write down some of the things I do and think about. I started to do so with a Drupal website in 2013. Recently I've upgraded the site to Backdrop.
Why was Backdrop chosen for this project?
In the last two years, I've been using Backdrop to build new websites for my clients. Maintainig various websites which are based on Drupal 7, I was curious how an upgrade from Drupal to Backdrop would work. Short answer: I had to be well prepared (read the docs, knew my site, was flexible), but then it worked fine. And it's great to manage the site in Backdrop now!
