Issue queues, repositories, and more!
Core Issue Queue
The Backdrop CMS Issue Queue is where all discussion happens around adding new features or fixing bugs.
The Backdrop CMS codebase lives in a different repository than the issue queue.
Core Pantheon upstream
If your'e running Backdrop CMS on Pantheon, there's a custom upstream we maintain that contains more than just Backdrop, it has some Pantheon-specific files added.
Backdrop contributed projects
The modules, themes, layouts, and other contributed projects created by the larger Backdrop community are all located in the Backdrop contrib group.
Contrib Maintainer applications, port requests, and more
If you have a module, theme, or layout you would like to contribute to the Backdrop community please apply to join the contrib group.Other things you'll find here include:
- Contributed project maintainer applications
- Notices about modules or themes that are about to be ported (to avoid duplicated work)
- Requests from others for specific modules or themes to be ported (including bounties)
- New ideas to brainstorm collaboratively on solutions
- Requests to co-maintain existing or abandoned projects
If you have suggestions for how to improve this website, we've got an issue queue and repository for that. We are also currently using this space for issues about marketing and outreach for BackdropCMS.
There's a tag in the backdropcms.org queue specifically for GitHub automation tasks.
Some automation tasks are accomplished via the Node server.
Presentation slide deks
Many Backdrop presentations are also available for re-use. Create a pull request to add your own variations!
Code of Conduct
Backdrop's code of conduct is also maintained in a GitHub repository.
