TEG Consultants was built by SOFTKUBE with a custom modern web design to take their online presence to the next level.
TEG also wanted a content management system that matches their exact needs and allows them to easily add, edit, or delete content. Also, visitors should be able to easily view and browse their content quickly and easily.
For example, TEG will be able to add as many projects as needed to their website and it will still perform efficiently, displaying as many projects as necessary in a modern design solution. They can also add categories and locations dynamically to organize projects as well.
They also have the option to promote certain content to showcase them on the homepage and many more misc features that make managing their website a breeze.
We have chosen Backdrop for its flexibility and power during the development phase and for its ability to give the site editors a really simple backend that is tailor made to match their business needs.
In this case, the editors will be adding content such as projects, categories, services, and locations. Compare that to other popular content management systems where everything is just a page or a blog post and hence a mess to manage.
On a more technical level, we come from a Drupal 7 background and Backdrop is the obvious modern version when it comes to working in a similar environment. We believe that modern Drupal has its place but only at the enterprise level. Backdrop is a great fit for most websites in our opinion and we will be adopting it exclusively moving forward.
