The Entity connect module expands the Entity Reference and References (node
reference and user reference) auto-complete fields by adding "Add new content"
and "Edit content" buttons.
Installation

Install this module using the official Backdrop CMS instructions at
https://docs.backdropcms.org/documentation/extend-with-modules. -
Define permissions on admin/config/people/permissions page.

Visit the configuration page under Administration > Configuration > Category >
Entity connect (admin/config/content/entityconnect) and define the default
parameters.
