module moved into core in v1.2
The Email module for Drupal is no longer needed for Backdrop CMS.
Email fields have been available in Backdrop core as of version 1.2.
Upgrade Instructions:
If you are running the Email field module on a Drupal 7 site:
- Update to the latest version of the Email module in Drupal 7 before upgrading to Backdrop CMS.
- Leave the Email module enabled before the upgrade.
- Upgrade your site to Backdrop CMS.
- Your email fields and all settings will be updated automatically.
